Malt and cereal analyses including yield and UKAS accredited nitrosamine (NDMA) determination.
We offer extract and alcohol yield determination on raw and malted cereals including maize, wheat, barley, rye and malted barleys for both beer and spirits production. Analysis can be by predicted yield methods or by full high gravity laboratory procedures
Peated distilling malts can also be determined for levels of peating (steam distillable phenols) using liquid chromatography (LC) with either fluorescence or UV detection
Instrumental and wet chemical analysis of canned beers, bottled beers and production samples for general congeners including alcohol by volume (ABV), higher alcohols including methanol, sulphur dioxide and lead (as required by the Taiwanese authorities)
Other analyses include heavy metal analyses, ethyl carbamate (EC), herbicides and pesticides in alcoholic drinks.
